Parent-Teacher Network (PTN)

The saying goes, "it takes a village", and the same is true at FBCS. We couldn't do what we do without the support of our amazing Parent-Teacher Network (PTN). This collaborative team, headed up by parent volunteers, coordinates fun events for students, supports the staff and faculty, and also assists other parents. See below for some of the ways that PTN makes a difference.

What Does PTN Do?

fundraisers/Events

PTN helps with set up, clean up, donations, and service for fundraisers. 


PTN also helps to coordinate set up, clean up, service, and planning for student events such as 50s Day, 100s Day, Christmas Pancake Breakfast, Grandparents Day, Spirit Week, and more!

TEACHER APPRECIATION

PTN loves our staff and faculty! Each year, they run an "adopt-a-staff" program where parents can secretly adopt a staff or faculty member for the school year. Parents bless their adopted staff member with classroom donations, encouragement, or even some of their favorite goodies! During Teacher Appreciation Week, PTN often spoils our staff & faculty with breakfast, lunch, and yummy snacks!

free dress days

PTN sells annual Free Dress passes, redeemable on pre-scheduled dates once each month (typically the first Thursday). See the calendar for this year's PTN Free Dress dates.

Pass cards can be purchased for $10 each.

clothes closet

To assist parents with acquiring dress-code approved uniform items for their children, PTN manages a donation-driven clothes closet of gently used uniform clothing. At anywhere from $1-$3 per item, it's a great deal!
